This tutorial will explain to you you an extremely quick and completely free way to create an invisible folder in Windows where you can keep all kinds of files and anyone else with access to the computer will not know that they are there.
1. CREATE A NEW FOLDER ON THE DESKTOP
Right click your mouse anywhere on the desktop and select new> folder
2. RENAME THE NEW FOLDER
Windows will automatically name the new folder "NEW FOLDER".
Delete the name "new folder" and hold downthe ALT key and type 0160.
This will create an empty space where the name of the folder should be.
3. CHANGE THE FOLDER ICON TO AN EMPTY SPACE
Right click on the folder icon and select "properties".
In the properties options select the "customize" tab.
In the customize tab select the "change icon" option.
This will take you into shell32.dll, the default storage area for all Windows icons.
Scroll through the icons until you see an empty space.
Select the empty space then select OK > Apply > OK.
You will now have a completely invisible folder where you can store any type of file.
4. LOCATE AND ACCESS YOUR INVISIBLE FOLDER
You can now drag your invisible folder to any location or folder on your computer.
To access the folder either
(a) highlight the area you know the folder is in and select open
(b) open the folder you dragged the foldder into, hold down the ALT button and type 0160 then enter
